Gaggenau

New Generation of Cooling

Thanks to its handleless design, the doors of this luxury refrigerator blend seamlessly into any kitchen concept. Crafted with premium materials, the appliance resembles a piece of furniture, contributing to a harmonious overall design language in the living space.
As soon as the door opens, warm white, glare-free lighting showcases your culinary gems in the best possible light. In every cooling and freezing compartment, the LEDs gradually brighten and gently adapt to the ambient lighting, elegantly setting the scene for your finest ingredients.

The interior surfaces, made of dark, brushed stainless steel, make a bold statement and harmonize beautifully with the solid anthracite-colored aluminum elements. From the flush inner doors and door bins to the aluminum-framed glass shelves and drawers—every detail emphasizes what matters to us: refined materials.

Location Design Narrative

At the core of our building design lies a shared philosophy between architecture and appliance: that care, control, and permanence are aesthetic values in themselves. We designed this home in close alignment with Gaggenau’s new generation of cooling products, creating a space where technology and spatial design converge around the idea of purposeful restraint.

The building is composed of bold linear forms and deep material contrasts—dark-stained wood, soft concrete, and filtered light. It sits low and deliberate in the landscape, opening itself gradually through framed vistas and quiet thresholds. Inside, we allowed the cooling appliances to inform the architectural rhythm: full-height cabinetry volumes, monolithic walls, and deep reveals act as spatial registers for the built-in refrigerators, freezers, and wine climate units.

These cooling appliances are not decorative. They are tools of preservation, and we treated them as architectural instruments—incorporated seamlessly into the joinery, their touch-activated surfaces and soft interior illumination enhancing the tactile experience of the space.
